For more detailed care instructions, go to our Care Guide.
1. Organic Fabrics
We use the highest quality Japanese cotton/linen, Japanese Denim or Cotton/hemp fabrics. Often these are the last rolls we can find, making our quantities very limited, and small batch.
2. Natural Tagua Nut Buttons
Also known as "vegetable ivory" Tagua nut buttons are grown in South America. Each Tagua plant produces up to 15 fruit clusters called “mococha” - these contain seeds, which are called Corozo, or Tagua Nuts. The mococho clusters only fall to the floor when ripe, and can only be taken when they are good and ready - making them a highly sustainable resource. Tagua was used for centuries as buttons before plastic was invented.
3. Durable Construction
We use double folded seams to create the Sunrise Jacket. Since these seams are sewn twice, there are no raw edges touching your skin, plus they are very durable. We also put a reinforcement stitch called "bartacks" on the top edge of every pocket, so they'll wear well and not rip. Bartacks are also used to reinforce denim jeans.
4. Low Carbon Footprint
Our supply chain is hyper local focused in the SF Bay Area, keeping our carbon emissions per garment as low as possible and our dollars invested in our local economy.
Free shipping on orders $125.00 and up. Flat rate shipping $7.95.
We ship via USPS First Class or UPS unless otherwise requested. Holiday shipping is within 3 days if possible.
Most pieces are made to order. Made-to-order usually ships between 2 - 3 weeks. If an item is Ready To Ship, those will ship in 2 - 4 days.
